Greetings,
I have a fresh install of SM 1.2.11 on a Sun machine running Solaris 8,
Apache, and PHP 4.1.2. So far I've been unable to get SM to start
properly, I receive a blank screen with the following error message
in the apache error log:
[Wed Feb 12 15:10:49 2003] [error] PHP Fatal error:
Failed to initialize session module in
/opt/local/squirrelmail-1.2.11/src/global.php on line 194
Other existing web pages using PHP work fine.
I am not especially familiar w/ PHP yet so any help would be appreciated.
Past versions of Squirrelmail I've not had problems running. I also tried
SM version 1.4.0-rc2a with similiar results. Checking mailing list archive
did not turn up any clues.
