Hi.
I would like to make a theme where I can use a background image
instead of plain colors.
I saw that the colors in SM are defined by over a dozen of
variables in each theme template.
I am not a programmer myself but I can understand some parts
of the html/php code.
Here comes my suggestion or rather my wish. There are two variables ( $color[3] and $color[4] ) that I would like them to behave either
as
<body bgcolor="#E1ECFF">
or
<body background="/path/to/theme/someimage.gif">
depending of the syntax in the variable's definition (e.g if it has a "#" sign or any known images extension).
Some sort of "IF" (i.e conditional) statement.
I've read on this mailing list that some people change the code in left_main.php or/and right_main.php files in order to achieve that.
But in my case I don't want the same background image to appear in all themes but just in one specific theme.
Maybe this feature will be implemented in future SM releases but I would aprecciate if somebody can suggest a code hack for it.
Regards,
/Yuri
