I upgraded to courier for the same reasons, and like it a lot better. I 
also like using Maildir too, it's safer. AFAIK, there are no rpms 
available on the 'net, but they're pretty simple to make. Just follow the 
directions. (google search for courier-imap redhat-7.3, look for the 
how-I-did-it title, it seems to be the most verbose) Be exact, because 
IIRC I originally installed the courier rpm instead of the courier-imap 
rpm, and I had some trouble with postfix until I got it all straightenend 
out.

If you've never messed with rpms before, and have an abject fear of doing 
so, I think I still have mine laying around here someplace. I can ftp them 
to you, but you'll have to contact me off-list for contact info. I would 
prefer that you try the do-it-yourself routine first.
