We recently upgraded IE on all our Windows workstations to 6.0, specifically to deal with some problems that IE has with SquirrelMail (e.g. not handling attachments properly). It fixed those problems but seems to have caused another one - the "Folder list update forces message list update" option no longer works. Users now have to click on the INBOX folder to force an update.
I've spent most of a day trying to trace this problem and the confusing thing is that the folder_sync_left function *is* being called. However, its output is not appearing in the left_main frame. I tried IE5 and the option works perfectly. Try with IE6 and nothing. Any guesses?
