The <br /> came up previously when I edited the entry from a one line to a long entry.
Today, I tested using a new entry, purposely entering a long comment. Pls view the attached pic to see what I get.

I cannot think of what'd cause this. What are the entries in the file
like? I mean the calendar entries? What happens when you go to edit
the file?
