Hi Thomas,

If you're looking for a simple-n-easy drop-in-replacement for uw-imap,
courier might not be it. If you're looking for a great replacement,
courier-imap is hard to beat.

It's really not *_all_* that difficult to install courier-imap, but if you
have an rpm-based system I would strongly advise making the rpm. There's
detailed instructions in the courier-imap docs. Note that there is a
difference between courier (which installs all the courier mail products)
and courier-imap (just the imap server).

As for the rest of it, just be anal in paying attention to detail when
following the docs, and if the docs suggest reading something else first,
read it. If you do that, you should have little to no problem.

Good luck.
