So it *does* work for you right now as is? Then why not just leave it alone, at least until an official update is posted to the SM site?
Or try the version I attached to my last email. The ri files are created on purpose by the configuration script -- it does things like make sure the php tags are correct and change includes and requires to be more efficient. If the ri version broke things, then the problem is that one or more of the includes is not coded correctly, because to work, apparently it needs to specifically use the included file *every* time the code runs, instead of just on-demand. Probably a rg=0 problem...
