Same problem with preferences that Jon can't seem to duplicate...

Jon,

Try this (if you have the resources):

1) install FreeBSD 4.7-RELEASE (4.8 now?)
2) cvsup the FreeBSD ports collection
2) install /usr/ports/www/mod_php4
   (will auto-install apache13 for you)
3) install /usr/ports/mail/squirrelmail
4) create an alias in apache so that /squirrelmail/
   points to /usr/local/squirrelmail/
5) configure SM for your mail server

I guarantee that you'll see the prefs problem on your first run.
