Hi everyone =) I have been using about 6 months squirrelmail 1.2.11 and now updated to 1.4.0 (rpm version), database is MySQL.
>From the beginning i have been reveiving every now and then following error when i have tried to log in : --- Preference database error (connect failed). Exiting abnormally --- Normally two-three reloads will help but sometimes you have to bang reload 10 times to get squirrelmail to work. That is not so big problem but frustrating to explain that allways to users. If someone have had same problems and found a fix for that i would appreciate =) I dont thinks this is straight connected to Squirrelmail but it is only software that gives error with database. Could somekind of timeout preferences be too short ?
