I've got a RH7.3 box running postfix 1.1.12 and squirrelmail, and I'm having problems sending mail. When I hit "send" in the compose screen, it POSTs something but never sends the mail. This happens with both 1.2.11 and 1.4.0 RPMs.
Mail works fine on this machine, it's sending/receiving for 50 users and I can send mail from the command-line.
I've tried both SMTP and using sendmail directly, it seems like it just never even tries sending a mail. It looks like squirrelmail doesn't make any logs, and there's nothing useful in the access_log and error_log except knowing that it did try POSTing. Is there any way to turn on some debugging to find out where the disconnect is occurring?
I'm not attaching anything, so it's not the file_upload I found in the FAQ (and I tried turning that on anyways).
Anyone have any clues where I can even start debugging this?
