Hello,

I have my SpamAssassin rules pretty tight for my account, but I had a
message get tagged yesterday that should not have been. One of the reasons
it was tagged was because no X-Mailer line was added to the header by
SquirrelMail, which was the sending mail client. What I'm wondering is why
isn't X-Mailer being inserted? Shouldn't there be one added that reads
something like "X-Mailer: SquirrelMail 1.4.0" (yes, I'm using 1.4.0, sorry
not to mention earlier)? Heck, it could even be a configurable parameter
for those paranoid types who don't want the actual mail client to be
identified in the header.

The report from SA is:

---- Start SpamAssassin results
1.80 points, 1.5 required;
* 1.1 -- From: does not include a real name
* 0.7 -- Message has priority setting, but no X-Mailer
*  0.0 -- Has a User-Agent header

---- End of SpamAssassin results

Thank you,

-ben
