Okay, first off, the mailbox_display.php error has been fixed in CVS.
You should download the 1.4 CVS and use it instead.  It should only have
bug fixes in it and should be fine to run.

The "Constant sid" problem is actually a bug in PHP and was fixed in the
4.3 version of PHP.  You can see the fix here:

I don't know if they plan on putting it in 4.2 or not.  There might be
something the SquirrelMail developers can do to work around it, but I'm
not sure.

I'm sending this to the devel list too so they can take a look at it.
