yes file is already there and i am wondering how it suddenly stopped.

in this regard i find some intresting stuff regarding SMTP authentication.
For this i made some changes in my /etc/hosts.allow, but siill it is not
working.  now it looks like

ALL:10.0.0.0/255.255.255.0
ALL:127.0.0.1/255.255.255.0
sendmail:ALL

I found one document on net and it says that this error is occured if the
host opens connection to SMTP port and disconnets without any further
communication.

one more thing is that i installed and configured SM on another w2k  "test"
server and it is working fine, not giving any error !!  (same redhat linux
server )
