This is the second release of the stable 1.4.x series. This release added no new user features, focusing strictly on bugfixes and performance enhancements. Of particular interest in this release are the numerous bugfixes, including fixes to folder handling, message highlighting, various translation updates, and better header handling. Some users complained of poor performance with SquirrelMail 1.4.0; this release should be much more responsive. The developers would like to thank everyone who contributed to this release, especially those who worked so hard with us to help identify and squash bugs.
