I searched the archives for this question and came up dry: After running SquirrelMail 1.4.0 with no problems since April 3, as of 2 weeks ago I can't login. This is what I get when I try:
Preference file, ../data/lhoffner.pref, could not be opened. Contact your system administrator to resolve this issue. I've checked, and that file has permissions for Apache (which I believe it always did). I did add some new plugin, but that was two weeks before this started happening. (I don't remember what it was, and I can't login to find out...) There is plenty of space on the HD. Any suggestions?
