It's been two months now that I've not used another mail client for my personal e-mail besides SquirrelMail. I've found SM to be just as capable as Netscape 7.0 which I was using previous to this.
The *only* thing I'm using Netscape for now is the Address Book, which I keep current and export an LDIF file for importation to my LDAP server, which of course SM talks to). With the addition of a modified LDAP Query plugin (I changed and added field names to match Netscape's) , I now get all of the fields in the Netscape Adddress Book returned to SM from the LDAP server. In short I get *all* my e-mail and contacts wherever I am. I think SM is a fantastically successful open source project. You guys rock. Now, if the search function in 1.4.1 only worked with Mercury/32 (I'm on 1.2.11) I'd be a *real* happy camper. If any of the devleopers would like to try to tackle that one I'd be happy to provide access to my Mercury for testing.
