This is a known bug and as far as i remember has existed for ever.. It exists in the 1.4.2 CVS version as well... https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=775416&group_id=311&atid=100311 This bug also causes attachments with qp encoded filenames to get broken filenames...
