Okay, I figured out what the problem was, if anybody is interested to know. In a nutshell, I was running http (not https) on port 443 (which is reserved for https). This confused the get_location() method in strings.php. Why I did this, you ask? To work around our [EMAIL PROTECTED] firewall at work, and I was already using port 80 for something else.
