You may want to change the IP address in mercury to match your DNS.

These come up a lot, I don't think its anything to worry about.  In fact
if you modify the default settings of php, you can set php to log instead
of display errors, you won't see them :-)

I don't know Mercury at all but I would say that is where you want to
concetrate your troubleshooting efforts.  I doubt it is your apache/php
since they seem to be operating.
