Not a squirrelmail problem at all. It is caused by the way your IMAP
server stores it's messages. I guess you're probably using UW as you
don't mention (please in future mention things like that). UW doesn't
allow for a folder containing folders to contain mail (limitation of
the mbox format), nor does it allow for folders containing mail to
contain folders (again limitation of mbox format). Try looking on the
file system itself, and I'm sure you'll see fairly quickly why a file
cannot contain a file, and a folder cannot have the same name as a
file.
