I have found the problem:

In SM, when the contact entry doesn't have any mail or entry SM will not display
anything even with LIST ALL function. Mail entry must exist in order for SM to display
anything about contact, otherwise SM will say No Such References Found.

Hello Keith, I just tried to uninstall --nodeps httpd, mod_ssl, php-imap, php-ldap,
php and reinstall it -i
The result is the same. Is it possible for you to see if you have something like
mod_ldap in your httpd.conf or send me your confs: httpd.conf, php.ini. slapd.conf
(ofcourse omiting sensitive info from them) I think that the problem is with
configuration.

p.s. You do have RH 9 runing with OpenLDAP, Apache and SM?
Thank you again for your support and time

I just ran into something similar with redhat rpms. It seems that if you
install an rpm and want compiled in support, then the installation option
should be -i rather than -U. I also noticed that installing the relevaqnt
rpms together compiles in support for each other, adding them one at a
time is not the same.

In short, try rpm -e all the relevant packages (use --nodeps for
dependancies. It's okay here is you plan on re-installing the package
that's depended upon). Then reinstall them together with -i.

Let us know if it works out for you.
