This is a known problem.  Please read the archives... and yes, PLEASE
upgrade.  One poster recently said that 1.4.2 fixed this problem for
him, although I am not yet convinced that the problem has been solved,
and may not be until Jonathan finishes the re-write of SM's session
handling code.
