Hi, I don't have any problems downloading my squirrel email into Outlook Express6 but I am having a lot of trouble sending email from my squirrel account using Outlook. I get the following error message:
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'chef.its.yale.edu', Server: 'chef.its.yale.edu', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F. My Account Setup is as follows: Server Information: Incoming mail server is a POP3 server Incoming mail (POP3): chef.its.yale.edu Outgoing mail (SMTP): chef.its.yale.edu Server Port Numbers Outgoing mail (SMTP): 25 Incoming mail (POP3): 995, This server requires a secure connection SSL Server Timeout: 1 minute 30 seconds I don't know what's wrong and why the server keeps on timing out.
