I was wondering if squirrell mail could solve my problems. I require functionality that will provide multiple users simultaneous access to one inbox. I require 2 main feature in particular:
1) If a message is veiwed by one user, the message is locked and cannot be edited by anyone else logged into the system. 2) All users must log in and have individual signatures/profiles that are included with any outgoing email. I used to work in a support evironment where all the staff would log into a web page that displayed the support inbox. All staff were responsible for replying to messages, thus the system was written to support the features I have indicated above. Unfortunately the app was written by a staff member, and is not freely available. I currently have the need for exactly this kind of server side system. Can SM provide me with this?? if not, does anyone know of any software that would meet my needs. I have searched and searched in vain, and really need to roll out something soon. Please help :) !!
