Slackware 9.0 (O means original, N newest version)
N Djbdns 1.05 (as cache dns and static dns)
N    Qmail 1.03
N    Daemontools 0.76
N    Ucspi-tcp 0.88
N    Vpopmail 5.2.1
N    Courier imap 2.1.2
N    Squirrel Mail 1.42
N    Autorespond 2.0.2
N    Getmail 3.2.1
O    Mysql 3.23.56
O    Apache 1.3.27
O    PHP 4.3.1

Sometimes the authentification fails on some user.
I've tryed to:
1) Recreate 2 user (one with problem, one working)
2) Create a new account for the user with problem
But nothing appens.

This is the error message, simply enter with the account exit with exit link
of Squirrelmail, go directly to the connection page, reinsert the same data
end recive an user or password error (as i inserted a wrong password).
I retry a lot of time to enter, but the account remains blocked until i
reset the server, i can login with other account while one is blocked.
I don't have an imap.log i store all information in /var/log/maillog.
The server is jaguar.mydomain.dom, mydomain.int is a virtual domain, to
retrive mail i use getmail sending the mail directly to the Maildir.

Oct  3 11:35:48 jaguar imapd: Connection, ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1]
Oct 3 11:35:48 jaguar imapd: LOGIN, [EMAIL PROTECTED],
ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1], protocol=IMAP
Oct 3 11:35:48 jaguar imapd: LOGOUT, [EMAIL PROTECTED],
ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1], headers=0, body=0
Oct  3 11:35:52 jaguar imapd: Connection, ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1]
Oct 3 11:35:57 jaguar imapd: LOGIN FAILED, ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1],
protocol=IMAP
Oct  3 11:35:57 jaguar imapd: DISCONNECTED, ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1],
headers=0, body=0

Other times, but i haven't find log trace, deleting or moving a mail i'm
sended
to the login page, like the other error is impossible to login, with the
same user
until i reset the server.

Is a way to retrive some other information from the log?

Setting getmail to retrive mail every 20 minutes(first was 5) resolve
partially the
error ( is less frequent), maybe can be this?
