This has come up a couple of times with IE, and unfortunately nobody
on the SM team has been able to duplicate the issue, or even offer a
fix.  From what I remember, it's because IE is splitting up a certain
tag in the header of the page (a <br /> to be exact from what I
remember).  If you take a look under the compose box, you might see a

cause of the line just splitting for no reason. All I can suggest is
double make sure your computers are up to date with all the latest
security updates from MS, and take a read of the archives, and see if
you can try some of the suggestions that have come up in the past.

As I said, we're unfortunately unable to duplicate this, so I cannot
find a fix for it :/
