Hi All, More recently I've noticed an awful trend in emails being posted to these lists. I'd like to remind all of you to take a read of:
http://www.squirrelmail.org/wiki/MailingLists There are some basic suggestions for posting to the mailing lists, I strongly suggest following them. I also strongly (I mean really really suggest) reading the archives first... yes, we all know Sourceforge's archives are... to put it mildly... useless. That is why we have the gmane archives (also linked from the above mentioned page). For convenience, here they are: http://news.gmane.org/thread.php?group=gmane.mail.squirrelmail.user http://news.gmane.org/thread.php?group=gmane.mail.squirrelmail.devel http://news.gmane.org/thread.php?group=gmane.mail.squirrelmail.plugins If you need to be told which link goes to which list, well... no comment. You might also want to skim the other lists to ensure it hasn't been asked on there too. Also it'd be nice if people would start trimming emails on replies... there really is no need to duplicate the full email in most cases. And as we always say... give us as MUCH detail as you can: What SquirrelMail Version? PHP Version? Web Server (make/model/version)? IMAP Server? Plugins Installed? Do you get an error message? If so, what is it? [1] What browsers have you tried with? If you're not sure on any of the above, enable the bug_report plugin, and use it to help... it provides a lot of the information we require. [1] It drives me, and everybody else crazy when the email runs along the lines of "I got an error, what can I do to fix it?" Please take all of these notes into account, it helps everybody if you do.
