I did not notice this when we were testing our installation of Squirrelmail 1.4.2, but we made 1.4.2 live this morning, and 15 minutes later, I had a bug report from a user.
He points out the "Download this as a file" link no longer appears at the bottom of every message you view as it did in 1.2.10 (the version we were previously using.) I see that the download.php file is still part of 1.4.2, but when I look at the screenshots section of squirrelmail, which says they are screenshots of 1.4.0, I notice that the link is not present on the screenshot for reading a message: http://www.squirrelmail.org/images/shots/1.4.0/read_mail.jpg It is also still listed in the help page. That makes me wonder if this is a seldom used feature that was broken somwhere between the 1.2 version and the 1.4 version. Can anyone confirm that this feature does exist in their 1.4.x installation of squirrelmail (which would mean it's likely something I've configured wrong.) or whether the intention was to remove the feature, but removing it from the help screen was missed? Thanks for any insight that you can give me into this problem. -- Adam Forsyth Senior Systems Administrator Luther College ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials.
