Hi all, Yesterday I got rid of my UW impad and replaced it with the latest Courier imapd - 2.2.1. Since then I've seen a huge performance improvement, but also some error messages popping up.
First off, here's my config: SM 1.4.2 PHP 4.3.2 Apache 2.0.48 Solaris 8 Courier IMAP 2.2.1 The first PHP message doesn't happen all the time, but when it does it's when I first login. The left_main.php and right_main.php load but each has this message at the top of the frame: Notice: Undefined variable: version in /usr/home/htdocs/www.gprc.com/smail/config/config.php on line 11 Which seems odd since the SM login screen shows the proper version, and I assume it's also using the $version variable. However, if I do something like click on COMPOSE, those errors don't appear. If I then click on either cancel or on the INBOX again, I get back to the message list and again the errors are gone. And they remain gone. Now, next time I logout/login I may not get the message. But I might. It's pretty random, which is real frustrating when I want to reproduce it. The next set of errors I get is with the folder_sizes plugin. I've got the button at the bottom of my folder list. I click on it and get the following errors. Note that I still get the folder size listings and they are correct. If it's courier that's generating them or causing them, I can't figure out why. Other than these two errors (and a newmail plugin problem I posted to the SM-plugins list) everything is running just dandy with courier imap. In fact, the errors I list in this email don't stop anything from working, but I figure they're not supposed to be happening so I'd like to get them fixed.
