Re: [SM-USERS] Squirrelmail and php safe_mode

Both data/ and default_pref are owned by the apache user, they are both readable by this user and the directory is executable by this user. I don't see errors about this in my apache error log file. What could be wrong?

Chances are, safe_mode is not allowing you to read files in the data
directory you have set, or the permissions on the file/dir that are
causing safe_mode to cause some issues. Try checking the ownership of
the dir/files, and check your apache logs.
