I believe not. Uebimiau allows me to login into my account as only "user",
but behind, it adds "@domain.com". Does SM can do something similar?
Happy New Year!

I've never done anything at all,...just installed, ran the conf.pl
script and set the normal settings,...I'm running SM on an OS X
server,...I think the authentication is more to do with your mail
server than SM. If I am not mistaken, SM simply passes the name and
password as entered into the login screen to your mail server which
probably then passes it to some authentication model depending on your
server.
For example, on my OS X server, an account may have a long name of Jeff
Mao with a short name, jmao. So my email would be [EMAIL PROTECTED]
But, I can also login to SM using Jeff Mao as my user name since my
server also recognizes that name,...
I think your issue may be somewhere in your server/directory
services/authentication and not SM.
Jeff
But how? where do I have to change the settings? in the config.php? if
so, what lines do i have to edit? I have only one domain
