[SM-USERS] Error in Left Pane

I am running SquirrelMail 1.4.2 on a Compaq server with RedHat 9, Apache 2, and latest versions of PHP, mySQL, Sendmail, etc.
 
I used the RPM install for RedHat 9 and the software installed properly. I am able to send and receive emails from it with no problem. When I log in, however, I get this error message in the left and frame:
 
ERROR : Could not complete request.
Query: CREATE "mail/Sent"
Reason Given: Invalid mailbox name
 
Because of this error, I am unable to create any personal folders, or special folders like TRASH, SENT, etc.
 
Any ideas on how I can fix this?
