<>According to my hosting provider.. "PHP is run as a CGI for your specific user." and I created a test .abook file from my admin login for the admin user and still don't get an .abook file (unless I use SM to do it 1 by 1...) Is there a work around for this? (also CGI is enabled for my users). I can check but I imagine the old host was the same setup as they use the same reseller software? Even so if I re-create a new file shouldn't that work?

Or does it look like I have to take each account and redo all the info via the SM interface (which doesn't support a batch add <g> can we add a feature request <g>)

Thanks/Regards Again,
/Ray

This could be an ownership issue. You say you just changed hosts. Perhaps
your old host ran PHP as CGI, which would mean that files created by SM
are owned by you the user. That would enable you to edit or replace them.

The new host may run PHP as an Apache Module, which would mean that
files created by SM are owned by the server, e.g. "nobody". You wouldn't
have ownership rights to overwrite them as you're trying to do.
