Hello, I am new to this mailing list but I have been using Squirrelmail for about 6 months. I have been limited to the use of ver. 1.2 due to the fact that I am getting errors when I try to creat multiple identities with versions 1.4 and up (including ver.1.5).
I have tried to look through the archives and newsgroups but can't seem to find a solution for this problem. The error that I am getting is that the the si1.tmp file in the data directory can not be copied to the si1 file for the user. I am guessing that this may be a perl problem. I am running squirrelmail on a winXP Pro machine, with Apache 2.0.47 and ActivePerl 5.8, I also have PHP 4.3.1 The following is the exact message that I get: Signature file, ../data/username.si1, could not be copied from temporary file, ../data/username.si1.tmp. Contact your system administrator to resolve this issue. I have allowed changing user identity in the setup file for squirrelmail. Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated.
