I wouldn't say things are working okay if you cannot login ;) > However every attempt to login will produce the following error in > the security logs: > Mar 21 13:02:17 callisto imapd[10404]: Login disabled user=martin > auth=martin host=localhost [127.0.0.1] > Mar 21 13:04:03 callisto imapd[1077]: Login disabled user=martin > auth=martin host=localhost [127.0.0.1] > In this case, that username has shell access while other users did not. > Is there a way to get this corrected? Yes, but you're not giving us any information, so I'm going to make some assumptions. You're using UW-IMAP, it has been compiled so that LOGIN is disabled. SquirrelMail needs LOGIN otherwise it cannot login, it will NOT work with STARTTLS. You should be able to run over TLS if you set it up correctly. -- Jonathan Angliss ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) Posting Hints: http://article.gmane.org/gmane.mail.squirrelmail.user/16718 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
