1. you can't manage your mailing list with the same tools as vmailmgr.
2. mailing list software and vmailmgr use some kind of local delivery
agent. Combining two LDAs to work together is not easy. It is possible
that you can do some magic stuff with .qmail files. but if you want good
mailing list server, you should not play Harry Potter.

Email server does not care about different local delivery agents. It does
not care about some external host doing completely different tasks. Just
use other box, different subdomain and different IP address for your list
server.
