I've had Squirrelmail set up for users at work, and on my personal
server for quite a while now (v1.2 or so) and I finally got around to
upgrading the version at work to 1.4.2

The problem I'm seeing is (in 1.4.2 and 1.5.0beta):
When a user attaches a message (from any browser) it doesn't get
properly "MIMEd" (for lack of a better term). The attachment just
gets base64 encoded into the body of the message.

This is happening on two separate installs:
   INSTALL ONE
      Redhat 7.1 (heavily patched)
      Squirrelmail 1.4.2
      php 4.0.6
      apache 1.3.22
(This is talking to a separate IMAP server running cyrus imapd)

   INSTALL TWO
      Fedora Core 1
      Squirrelmail 1.5.0beta
      php 4.3.4
      apache 2.0.48
(this is talking to itself running imap-2002d)

INSTALL ONE does NOT exhibit the same problem when running Squirrelmail
1.2.5

Any ideas would be appreciated. I've been searching for references to
the same problem all over the place, and haven't come up with anything.

I wish that the archives for this mailing list were archived... I'd
much rather zgrep through gigantic text files than have to ask a
question that has probably been asked and answered a few times.

Cheers!

.l.
