I can't avoid this one. Just throw that IE in the GARBAGE. Once I tried to make it work for a relative o mine, but ended up installing netscape 7.1. I take every opportunity that I have to move users to Netscape/Mozilla. Use the problems to convince the users that they have to move.
I know. It is quite a job to move users from one app to another, even when it provides a better service. We have a natural resistance to change.
