I have installed and configured SquirrelMail.
When i send mail, it adds 'mail' to from address. Say user1 sent an email, I recieve
from address as [EMAIL PROTECTED]
My smtp server is setup as hostname.domain.com only. so when somebody replies to
mail.hostname.domain.com address I am not able to recieve it.
I want it to show only [EMAIL PROTECTED] I checked using conf.pl, at no place i have mentioned 'mail' still it produces 'mail' in from address.
Can somebody let me know how to fix it.
1) conf.pl -> 2 (server settings) -> domain -> set this correctly
2) if problems continue, fix your server. SM does not add anything more to outgoing addresses
