I want to integrate Squirrelmail with another web application that has already an authentication system. Is there a way to integrate Squirrelmail in a way that once a user has authenticated to my application he can also use Squirrelmail without a second login?
Read the archives, many other people have tried this with varying levels of success. You need to be able to set the SM cookie with the proper IMAP username and password, so you'd have to make sure that your other app has the user login information for your IMAP server.
