certainly, especially if they create files or folders via samba and try to access them thru SM, since surely samba won't create files w/group ownership of apache

one solution is to run a daily (more often?) cron that blasts thru users' home directories resetting the group on everything to apache (and make sure permissions are right too)... File Manager is not a replacement for a good (S)FTP client, but it can work.

Hrm, yeah. Overall, the plugin was meant to be kind of a "Yahoo Briefcase" like thing instead of a full-blown file manager, eh?

Users mail is also in their $HOME. I'd have to be careful with a cron-job.
Unless I can just tell Samba to create files with the group of apache, but I don't know it can do that. I know about its modes/etc, but.. wrong list. :)

BTW, silly sf.net is bouncing mails claiming my postmaster address isn't working. Whoops. Why it checked the *backup MX server* and doesn't want to check it again now that I've corrected the issue, I dunno.
