Mac OS X.3.4 WebStar 5.3.2 SquirrelMail 1.43a EIMS 3.2.4

I need to set up SM to work with several virtual hosts. It appears as though I was able to install the VLogin and Compatibility plugins - but I'm not quite clear how to setup VLogin.

If I try to run VLogin's setup.php in Terminal, I get a Permission Denied error.

So, I changed the permissions on that file to allow me to execute, and I get this instead:

/Applications/4DWebSTAR/WebServer/MyDomain/webmail/plugins/vlogin/ setup.php: line 1: ?php: No such file or directory
/Applications/4DWebSTAR/WebServer/MyDomain/webmail/plugins/vlogin/ setup.php: line 18: syntax error near unexpected token `'SM_PATH''
/Applications/4DWebSTAR/WebServer/MyDomain/webmail/plugins/vlogin/ setup.php: line 18: ` if (defined('SM_PATH'))'

What am I doing wrong?

And... if I'm using SM to serve multiple domains, do I still install it within a domain's folder.... or, at the root level of the webserver tree?

Thanks for the guidance.
