hi all. i've been using SM 1.4.2 without much trouble for the last 2 - 3 months now. suddenly last night around 2 am the login page started hanging for a few minutes before it starts the imap authentication. i checked the logs - nothing there - restarted servers - web (apache 1.3) and imap (courier) and even downloaded sm 1.4.3a just to test the sm<=>imap connection. everything seems to be normal.imap authenticates users very fast if i use either a non-web client or the test installation of SM 1.4.3a. so it's definitely SM somewhere. php is fast too - i checked... users that use safari are specially affected because that browser times out the connection after 60 sec. and right now authentication takes about 3 - 4 minutes?!.
