Hello,

I've been searching through the site but cannot find this info (I am not a programmer and it is likely that I don't know the correct/technical search terms).

My question is whether Spam can be filtered to reject everything except for a few specific terms. Or whether this can be done via a script.

Example (no it isn't real script, as above I'm not a programming wizard, but hopefully it illustratesd hwat I'm trying to get at):

"IF
(subj does not contain ([MailListName] OR [term1,term2,term3...])
OR address not equal to [EMAIL PROTECTED])
THEN
(delete email and any attachments withour opening)"

I currently get over a thousand pieces of garbage email a day, and if anyone ever did try to contact me via the site for valid purposes, I'd never be able to find the message. At this point, I have re-directed my "catch-all" and "root" aliases to forward everythign into another alias that I simply replace with a blank file every so often, which at least keeps my Inbox clear of fake email names with my com-site slapped onto the end, but this isn't a permanent solution since the dump file still grows so quickly that it'd clog up my website space (on the host's server) if I couldn't keep up with it every day.

It is possible (I think) to set up a specific emailer (for a website) with a specific subject line, and use JavaScript to assemble it all from separate bits so that email-theiving-robots can't recognize the info - so I could still get email from my site even by using a highly-exclusionary spam filter. This will be part of my site update/rewrite that I'm working on, but of course works best only if there is a spam filter that can work from a narrow/short list of emails to receive, as opposed to mega-lists of things to be excluded.

I sincerely appreciate *any* solutions and instructions :) !
