Okay, from your description, you're running uw-imap. Create a folder with the mentioned box checked (I cannot remember the exact wordage on it). When you create this folder, with that box checked, you will be able to create folders under it. You cannot create folders under other folders you didn't create in this method due to the way UW works. It's more of a file system thing than anything. IE, on the server, try to do this: # touch test_file # mkdir test_file You'll get an error.
