Have you checked your system logs (on the mailserver) to see if there's any mention of 
why it's refusing the connection?  Also, is imapproxy running on the webserver or the 
mail server? Currently the plugin tries to connect with the IMAP server (as configured 
in SquirrelMail) to change the password.  If imapproxy is running on the webserver and 
that's where SquirrelMail is set to point, then it will try to connect there to change 
the password.  If that's the case, then I can make the password server address 
configurable and release a new version of the plugin (I'll probably do that anyway).
