[SM-USERS] ldap error

hi,

this is my first post to the list. i really like SM and can only recommend it.

i have a somewhat weird problem (aren't they all...):

i'm using mac os x 10.3 with squirrelmail 1.4.3 RC1. on the same machine i'm running an ldap server.

i had the typical protocol error and including "allows bind_v2" in the slapd.conf almost solved it but instead gave me the following error message (http://wibi.homeip.net/images/squirrelmail.jpg - screenshot):

 [windbichler.com] Success

now, how's that for weird? it's telling me, "yeah, Success" but "hey, still no luck connecting".

anyone any idea what the problem might be?
