SquirrelMail version 1.2.11
happens in both IE and Netscape

Separate Compose window won't open, and mouseover shows
"javascript:void(0)". If compose is not set to open in separate window,
all is fine.

I'm using SquirrelMail as provided by my webhost; I'm not the one who
loaded the program.

This started happening all of a sudden, with nothing to cause it that I
can tell. My webhost checked it out on their end and they have no problem
so it's something on my computer. I have WinXP SP1.

The first time it happened, a system restore to before the problem started
seemed to fix it. Now it's happened again and system restore doesn't
help.

It shouldn't be my firewall either, since it worked for a couple of weeks
alongside the firewall before this started. It really did change from one
minute to the next without my having done anything that I know of--sent a
message, then went to send another and it wouldn't work. But just in
case, I changed firewall programs--no dice.

I'm about ready to wipe everything and start my whole system fresh. I
can't believe I'm having more problems with XP than I ever did with the
nefarious ME.

Any thoughts on what's going on? Is there a particular file that is
somehow getting damaged that I need to replace?
