Squirrelmail itself is not an email server and as such has nothing to do with email account creation or management. It is an IMAP client in much the same way as Outlook, Outlook Express, Netscape Mail, etc, etc, etc. Your IMAP username and password are going to depend entirely on how you set up Postfix and IMAP (which aren't really dependencies other than you need to have an IMAP email account for Squirrelmail to talk to and a way to receive mail). Typically, in a very basic setup, your username and password are going to be the same as the ones you use to log into the machine that you installed the IMAP server on. Is that the same server that you receive mail at? If not, you probably meant to configure Squirrelmail to talk to _that_ machine instead, assuming it provides IMAP services of course. This is a very basic mail question that you are asking. I'm actually a little surprised that you managed to install all of the above software without knowing the answer. I would encourage you to Google for email server administration to learn more. -- Marc ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: YOU BE THE JUDGE.
