Hello to all. I hope this is the right place to report bugs, though
since I am not sure if there is a reason to it, I prefer submitting it
to public review.

I would like to know whether there is some reason for double quotes in
the Subject being transformed to single ones when replying to a
message.

When replying to a message whose Subject has double quotes through
SquirrelMail 1.4.3a (Windows 2000, both Mozilla Firefox and Internet
Explorer) the double quotes are transformed into single quotes.

I imagine that the threading headers are well formatted, but for mail
clients which are configured to deliver subject-based message
threading only (Gmail's current conversation implementation, I think
Mozilla Thunderbird, maybe a certain mutt configuration, etc.) this is
somewhat of an annoyance. I do not think it is due to header
restrictions, since double quotes hand inserted in the Subject are
sent untouched (so either one or the other must be a bug, I assume).
